Happy Valentine’s Day! Happy Galentine’s Day! Happy day to those who don’t celebrate! Whatever this time of year means to you, this post is still for you if you want to get a gift for a special someone or in the mood to treat yourself! Honestly to me everyday should be ‘Valentine’s day’ of some sort, just simply showing your love, affection and gratitude to your faves regularly.
My boyfriend and I are celebrating our second Valentine’s together with a sweet, relaxed and romantic evening. I’m so glad that we are on the same page with our gift buying and don’t go too overboard but get something small that shows that we care. Knowing and feeling that you are loved and appreciated is what it’s all about!

Travel Lovers
If you have the time and the money to get away from reality with your loved one and go on holiday definitely look into it. I’ve just come back from a trip away with my boyfriend and it was honestly one of the best times of my life and I will never forget any of the memories we created together. As a gift idea related to this, you could look to get something small like a matching passport holders or a personalised one. The one in the picture I bought from Tiger.
Relaxation Time
I absolutely love spending time dedicated to pampering sessions and as much as my boyfriend denies it, he loves a face mask just as much as I do! This gift can easily be given to your favourite girlies too. One of the things that I miss the most from living with my girls are our relaxing times together; nail painting, wearing face masks and watching true crime documentaries. If you love the same with your group of friends, stores like The Body Shop have face masks that you’ll love.
Food Lovers
If you’re looking for other exciting ideas rather than going for dinner you could look into going to a cooking classes. This is something that I’d love to do myself as this is a skill that I lack! In London there are loads of classes offered, I’ve had a look and I’ve seen chocolate making, dessert classes and Italian food classes.
Drinking Buddies
Going out for cocktails is one my fave things to do with my girls and with my boyfriend. The prices of nights out in London can be ridiculous and so I thought that having a cocktail making book would be a cool idea to save money! I found one on Amazon and it can come in a set of other books including a book of drinking games.
Time for Romance
Classic ideas can be best, going for a gorgeous piece of jewellery or perfume will surely not disappoint. If you’re looking for something else romantic I’d suggest looking at Not on the High Street for some unique personalised gifts that are just so cute! If you’re really looking to up the romance with your loved ones or looking to treat yourself to seductive outfits and lingerie; I’ve found that stores like Boux Avenue and Bluebella will have just what you’re looking for.
