Hey! Last week I visited the House of CB store in Westfield Stratford, London to try on some pieces that I’ve had my eye on for a while. Being a petite girl with a larger bust, I tend to find it hard to fit into certain things, sometimes the fit can be way too long or not big enough in the chest. With these thoughts in mind I thought it would be a good idea to try on some outfits before ordering.
Those who watched my Instagram story would have seen my little try on session and thank you all who gave me your opinions and telling me your faves. Also thank you to those who were brutally honest giving some a zero score – this is helpful when deciding which ones to get. I’ll share in this post what my Instagram followers scored these looks and as well as my own opinion.
1) Sirene – Organza Mesh Dress
Firstly I think the fit is amazing once I finally got it all zipped up, kinda struggled for a little while on my own – I’ve got on a size small (UK size 8-10). I don’t own many black dresses I’m thinking this could be super cute for dinners. I honestly don’t have any negative points about this dress and according to my Instagram poll neither did you, many of you gave it a full heart rating!
I’m fully in love with this dress, rate it a 5/5 and I’m probably going to be back to get it sometime!

2) Leila – Mesh Strapless Corset Dress
I’ve always wanted a strapless dress but never found one that made me feel confident that my girls would stay in the dress and not come out! I love the blush pink colour of the dress, it also comes in black but I think I prefer the pink. After trying it one, I’m not sure about the fit on my chest – I did a little movement test and my fear was confirmed, everything was out on show after one jump. For me honestly I’m still not fully sold on strapless, I think the top part isn’t holding me in like I would want it to be. On my Insta stories, the ratings was really mixed some gave it all hearts and a couple people gave it a zero.
I love the colour but I’m not sold on the fit, I’m not sure if maybe I need to go down a size so my bust is tightly fitting in the dress. For now I’m going to rate it a 3/5 just because I love how the dress looks but not how it fits.

3) Kara – Floral Ruched Cotton Ruffle Dress
I picked this dress as this print is so perfect for the Spring/Summer and the ruffles on the shoulders are something I wouldn’t normally go for, so I wanted to try and see how it looked. It fits really well in bust due to the lace so you can adjust how much space you need.
Honestly I’m not sure if it suites me that well but I’m going to rate it 2/5 because I like the lace and the print but I don’t love it on me.
£119 | Kara
4) Ella – Ruched Organza Mesh Mini Dress
This one is definitely my kind of dress, anything sparkly from House of CB and I’m all over it – Evidence A (21st Birthday) and Evidence B (20th Birthday). It’s similar to the Sirene dress (Dress number 1) in terms of the fit in this Organza Mesh material. This is such a me dress and if I didn’t have sparkly dresses from House of CB already I probably would get this.
I have no choice but to give this a 5/5 rating, look at that smile in the picture this dress just makes me happy!
£89 | Ella
5) Versaille – Print Corset Top
Now these are the kind of tops I need more of in my wardrobe for when I want to be little more than casual but not too fancy. I tried on a Bigger Cup Medium size (UK Size 10-12) for this – I LOVE that they have the option for a bigger cup or smaller cup sizes! I think I should have also tried the Small size Bigger Cup (UK Size 8-10) just to compare the fit.
This has given me more motivation to try on the range of tops that House of CB offer, I’m really considering going back to get this top as well. I can see outfits with this top already, planning my life with this corset and I don’t own it yet! It’s getting a 5/5 from me.
£59 | Versaille
I would love to know what you think about my choices, let me know in the comments please. I’ll do another try on session soon if you’d like to get a sneak peak at my picks and get involved in my instagram polls follow me HERE and keep an eye on my stories!
