London Instagrammable Restaurants: The Ivy Asia

I’ve wanted to go here for a while and what better reason to get all dress up and finally go than to celebrate my birthday! This beautiful restaurant, The Ivy Asia, is located in St Paul’s, London and you can see the St Paul’s Cathedral right from your seat. Obviously with the COVID restrictions you have to book in with your details before you can dine in, hand sanitiser was provided at the entrance and at the table and the staff were wearing face masks.

The food was delicious, as the name of the restaurant suggests the cuisine served is Asian food – we ordered a variety of the small dishes to share so we could try more things instead of just ordering one large dish – Click here to see the menu! I recommend trying these small dishes; Spiced Beef and Lamb Skewers, Prawn Tempura, Popcorn Shrimp and Chicken Teriyaki Skewers. It’s a shame I didn’t get more photos of the food it was devoured too quickly!

For dessert we ordered the sharing platter which has a selection of passionfruit doughnuts, pineapple, coconut panna cotta, watermelon, ice cream and more! Plus when they served the platter they surprised me with a little cute birthday candle and everyone sang happy birthday which was such a perfect way to end the evening.

Even though I didn’t get many pictures of the food, of course I got a lot of pictures of us around all the decor and in the pretty bathroom!

I definitely want to go back again and try more of the menu – I’d love to also try to go to their newer Ivy Asia location in Chelsea and see if it is just as amazing.
