To celebrate being together for 3 years, Connor and I booked a romantic dinner at Quaglino’s in Mayfair, London. I’ve been here before with my girls, for my 20th Birthday (if you want to remincise have a look at my previous blog post – here).
Upon arrival with the new COVID regulations we had to sanitise our hands and wear a mask until we were seated at our table (honestly I do think that sanitising before eating should have been encouraged before!). We were seated near the stage so we could hear the beautiful live Jazz music that was playing but we could also still have our own conversation and still hear each other – very important for date night!

When we got there we were one of the only people in the restaurant, it was very quiet even for a Tuesday evening. The tables were further apart and some of them had dividers in-between them for social distancing and all the waiting staff were wearing masks.

There were so many delicious options on the menu it was so hard to decide what to order! I decided to go for something that I haven’t tried before and I ordered the House smoked fillet of Swordfish with Salsa Verde, Tomato and Harissa Fondue (£36) – which was absolutely delicious and so filling! Connor ordered the Sirloin steak (£35), classic choice and you could not be disappointed!

For dessert, Connor ordered the Dark Chocolate Marquise, White Chocolate, Truffle Ice Cream and Golf Leaf – I had a little taste of this and I wanted more! The Chocolate was so yummy and rich and the Ice Cream was a great complement. I ordered what was called ‘Bring The Love Back’ White Chocolate and Raspberry. That’s all the details that was on the menu but as you can see in the picture above it was a lot more complex than just White Chocolate and Raspberry. It was amazing! I wish I knew exactly what it was but I kinda like that it was a mystery!

Had the best date night and it was made even more special when we were surprised with a little dessert treat wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We had such delicious food, I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to go for a romantic dinner.
