Ahhh! The last month has been an absolute whirlwind following on from my dream holiday with my now fiancé. I’m finally now taking the time to document everything – starting with our engagement story. For the last few months I’d been counting down the days to our holiday to Rhodes, Greece, I had the strongest feeling that Connor was going to propose. I just knew it was coming! I knew Connor was keeping a secret from me and I’m just the ultimate detective so I was listening and taking mental notes of everything he said. Some clues were easier to get than others, but asking for me to confirm my ring size (even if it was months before he actually proposed) was just giving it away!

Even though I had a feeling it was coming, I had no idea he was going to do it when he did. It was the most perfect moment between us on the beach. When we did go down to the beach at Sunset on our first night in Rhodes I didn’t question it, I wanted us to make the most of our holiday from the first night and see the beautiful scenery in the evening. As we walked down the shore, Connor was pretty quiet, I had assumed from being up since 2am and all the traveling we had done. Looking back on it his quietness was just a result of his mind working in overdrive, thinking about where and when to propose! We stopped walking and I suggested to take a seat on a nearby bench, when I turned to go Connor took my hand to stop me, turn me around and he was on one knee with the ring in his hand. I honestly don’t even remember saying yes straight away, the tears and happy emotions of the moment took over me!

To my fiancé thank you for making me the happiest girl in the world, I’m so happy to be starting this new chapter with you!
